What it is:

100% Nebbiolo, aged briefly in Stainless Steel after fermentation. A tribute to a historic recipe for Barolo from the 1600's. From the Piedmont region of Italy.

Why we like it:

This wine is a tribute to a traditional Barolo recipe from the 1600's which calls for bottling shortly after fermentation and using 25% whole cluster grapes. Giuseppe Vajra decided to bring back this former style after a conversation with a wine historian. This is a fresh, exciting and delicious wine. Particularly good on a warm summer evening.
