2020 J.L Chave Côte-du-Rhône "Mon Coeur"

What it is:

60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre aged in large neutral oak. From the Côtes-du-Rhône region of France.

Why we like it:

Chave is a name that is renowned throughout the wine world, particularly in the Rhône Valley. As their wines made in Hermitage continue to be harder and harder to find the family decided to expand their production to the outlying regions. They have always helped smaller producers with viticulture and winemaking techniques. They decided to purchase the grapes from these producers and make wines that were more accessible to a larger market. The resulting wines are stunning, incredibly well made and reasonably priced. We pour this wine by the glass at the Wine Bar, we recommend securing your order soon because it does go fast.
