Why we like it:

The estate was brought back to life in 1997 with the help of Françoise Foucault of Clos Rougeard. Matthieu Vallée took over the winemaking reigns in 2007, now making some of the most exciting wines in the Loire Valley. This cuvée focuses on 10 parcels across the Saumur region that are rich in limestone. This is an exciting wine that will age for many years to come, it will benefit from a bit of time in the decanter.
