What it is:
90% Sangiovese with a blend of indigenous Tuscan varieties. Aged in neutral Slavonian and Austrian oak for 24 months. From the Tuscany region of Italy.
Why we like it:
Le Boncie produces one wine and only 1000 cases of it per year. This wine was introduced to us by a friend and it quickly impressed. This is a masterclass in Sangiovese, showcasing the elegance and complexity of the grape. If you enjoy Chianti Classico or Brunello this is a great wine to taste.
