100% Pinot Noir aged in 40% new French Oak for 18 months. From the Les Clos vineyard in the village of Fixin in the Burgundy region of France.
Why we like it:
Fixin is an exciting region in Burgundy as the quality of wines being produced continues to excel. Historically, Fixin was an important village for wine production as it is close to Dijon. Domaine Derey has been producing wine in this region since the 1850's. This is a wonderful, complex and engaging example of Fixin wines.
