What it is:
A blend of Corvina and Rondinella aged in large barrels for one year. From the Veneto region of Italy.
Why we like it:
Begali's wines are known for the freshness and energy in a region that is known for power and weight. The Ripasso process refers to the fresh Valpolicella wine being passed through the left over skins from making Amarone. This adds a bit of body and complexity to the fresh Valpolicella. This is an excellent example of Valpolicella that is a great addition to any dinner table.
