What it is:

70% Piedirosso, 30% Aglianico aged for 12 months in new French barriques. From the Amalfi Coast region of Italy. 

Why we like it:

Marisa Cuomo's wines showcase the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Marisa has worked very hard to work the steep slopes of the region and bring the indigenous varieties back to life. This wine is complex and elegant, the combination of indigenous varieties and new French oak creates a wine with many layers. This comes from her Ravello vineyard which is terraced and sits right on the coast. This is an exceptional wine that pairs well with everything from steak to spaghetti and meatballs.
