The Malat Winery has a long and proud tradition of producing exceptional wines. Ninth generation winemaker Michael took over the fifty hectare estate from his father Gerald in 2008 and has continued the family tradition of producing outstanding wines. The Malat Winery is located on the south bank of the Danube River in the Kremstal districtus of Austria and has been producing top quality wines since 1722. The current owner, Michael Malat, is a highly respected winemaker who has won numerous awards for his wines. The Malat Winery produces a wide variety of red and white wines, as well as sparkling wines and dessert wines. The vineyards are planted with a mix of native and international grape varietals, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Malat Winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Kremstal region.
