Proprieta Sperino

Proprietà Sperino may be one of the most ambitious and significant winemaking ventures currently underway in Italy. Located at the foot of Monte Rosa, the vineyards span eight hectares and count six distinguished plots in Lessona: Belvedere, Ormeggio, Castagnola, Rava and Covà. In addition to these iconic ones, there is also the Madonna degli Angeli vineyard around Forte, which is known for its richly fertile mineral soils that are unique to Piedmont. In a move even more symbolic than productive, Proprietà Sperino established its cellars in an old castle dating back over two centuries; reviving not just a historic estate but also capturing the essence of this extraordinary region.
