Meinklang

Meinklang is an innovative farm in East Austria, owned and operated by the same family since before World War II. It is a diverse establishment comprised of three main areas: wine-growing, fruits and agriculture. As the experts in their respective areas, Angela and Werner are in charge of the wine estate while other family members tend to their own specialized plots of land. The land is kept vibrant thanks to the wholly unique Angus cattle herd that provides organic dung which nourishes the soil for healthy vineyards and amazing foliage. Another remarkable practice on the estate includes letting some vines grow without pruning - known as "graupert" - as well as keeping certain wines for extended maturation in specially designed concrete egg-shaped containers.
