In 1974, Guido Fidora made a bold decision to transition the family estate to Organic production - a move that would go against the grain of conventional methods at the time. Not only was Organic not in fashion, but the term itself wasn't associated with agriculture as it is today - it seemed that everyone had forgotten their past thousand+ years of chemical-free experience. Fast forward to today and Fidora's Civranetta estate stands as one of the oldest examples of an Organically certified property in the entire Veneto region. Guido Fidora broke new ground when he decided to adopt an Organic approach, and his actions have since inspired countless other producers across Italy to make changes for better land health.
